While the exchange was successful (everyone got two gifts!), I'd still like to get input to make it even better next year. Here's a list of things where I'd like your feedback, should you have any. Of course, I may have missed something, so feel free to tell me any other improvements you might want.
- General impressions?
- How was the stuff creation time? How about the other time intervals?
- What did you enjoy? What did you think could be improved?
- Any feedback on the sign-up sheet?
- Did you like the separation of tags into Character, Relationship, and Worldbuilding?
- Any other wishes for next year?

Date: 2016-10-01 10:48 am (UTC)I did wish I could have written more treats, but I always do.
I also got amazing gifts and lovely comments.
I guess it wasn't a perfect time of year for me, but it's always going to overlap something.
I think I'd prefer reveals to be near the start of a weekend rather than on a weekday, but it's not a deal breaker.

Date: 2016-10-01 01:26 pm (UTC)The schedule was so that fic reveals were on the equinox. I understand that this was somewhat awkward this year, being on a Thursday. (Next year, it'll be on a Friday – would that work?)

Date: 2016-10-01 12:57 pm (UTC)I was faintly confused by all the options on the sign-up sheet & had to refer to the instructions a few times. But that may've just been me, I'd only ever done Yuletide before & am not very familiar with how single-fandom sign-ups usually work.
Anyway that's a tiny niggle, and overall it was a lovely exchange and I had a blast. Thanks again!

Date: 2016-10-02 11:45 pm (UTC)I also liked the week between the due date and reveals, because it allowed for a lot of tinkering after the fic was done (and my brain interprets "done" as "after you've uploaded the fic"). I think it also had a lot to do with all the treats that were posted. And, it let me enjoy the buildup to reveals after the relief of posting wore off.
Part of me wishes the deadlines had fallen on weekends, but another part of me is glad they didn't, as it was extra incentive to wrap things up well ahead of them.
Just my musings, for what they're worth. But again, this was so much fun--thank you for everything you put into it!!

Date: 2016-10-03 07:15 pm (UTC)The timing worked well for me, but I was really Inspired and also prioritized this over a bang I was in, which I dropped out of. And the inclusion of worldbuilding options was fantastic! Thank you so much for that.

Date: 2016-10-04 05:07 am (UTC)The most exciting part was that worldbuilding was an option to request, and that specific aspects of it could be nominated. Great for a canon like this with so many unexplored corners.
I also liked how there were tags both for characters and for relationships - most exchanges I've done have been just one or the other, but this gives more flexible options in a clear way.
The one thing I was a bit confused about was, why the sign-up sheet had room for several requests instead of just one, when it was OR matching. But after I understood it was to allow for different media types, it was easy to use.
